Levitating height
up to 37mm
An unloaded disk levitates a 37mm. With a full 500gram load, the levitation height is 28mm.
For maximum visual effect, a load of 100 to 200 grams max is advised.
See table below for load vs levitation height.
LOAD | LEVITATION HEIGHT |
0 gram | 37 mm |
100 gram | 28 mm |
250 gram | 21 mm |
500 gram | 13 mm |
Connection:
Two-pin EU standard electrical plug (US powerplug optional)
Adaptor:
Voltage input (AC): 100-240V Voltage output: 18V Current: 2A peak
Power consumption:
(rest position): <4 W
Both carrier and base contain powerful magnets, therefore Crealev advises to keep magnetic sensitive devices such as credit cards at a minimum distance of 25 mm (1”) from the device.
Maximum load size:
Maximum load location on top of carrier ring:
Load = 0 gr | H_load = – | H_levitation = 37 mm |
Load = 100 gr | H_load = 70 mm | H_levitation = 28 mm |
Load = 250 gr | H_load = 50 mm | H_levitation = 21 mm |
Load = 500 gr | H_load = 30 mm | H_levitation = 13 mm |
You can hide our technology to make your product levitate even more magically. There are just some things to take into account in order to prevent damage to your levitation module.
The Alt37 and the Flux45 don’t have internal ventilation. So if you hide them in an enclosure, it is very important to create an active airflow by adding a fan, air inlet and an output to your design.
An example and instructions can be found in the manual “hiding_module” on this page.

The important things
- Try not to stretch the limits of the module in terms of a too heavy object, or too high. (this will create heat.)
- Make sure there is active ventilation.
- Make sure the airflow is bottom to top.
- Make sure the hot air and cool air don’t mix.
